There have been 10 IFRTT hosted symposia held at various international locations since 1986. Known as the Heavy Vehicle Transport Technology symposia or HVTT, the 11th event is scheduled for 14th to 17th March 2010 in Melbourne, Australia.

It will be followed by the International Truck Trailer and Equipment (ITTE) Show that runs from the 18th to the 20th March also in Melbourne. The HVTT symposium will include tours of the ITTE show for those able to stay in Melbourne for the additional days.
